Tour Itinerary

Places to visit in Delhi: Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Rajghat, India Gate, President House & Qutub Minar.

  1. Our guide will meet you in Hotel lobby or where do you want to be meet in Delhi and proceed to sightseeing for Delhi.
  2. First of all visit the Red Fort. It is one of the World Heritage Site listed in UNESCO that was built by Shah Jahan in the year 1638. It was the residence of the Mughal emperor of India. The structures in the fort are constructed of red sandstone, bordered by a four- storeyed minaret which is covered by three large domes banded of ?black and white marble. (We will not go to inside the Red Fort) and then proceed for Jama Masjid.
  3. In the year 1656, the Masjid was constructed by Shah Jahan and one of the largest Mosque in India and this was also built by Shah Jahan. Thousands of worshippers come here to worship. You will get some robes outside the markets to get inside the mosque. Only gents are allowed to go inside the mosque for prayer but ladies can stand outside and pray according to Muslim?s rituals.
  4. After drive pass through Red Fort proceed towards some nearby places like Chandni Chowk- literally means ?moonlit market ?and was established during the 17th?century. It was once known for India?s largest wholesale markets. The market is also called as the Fatehpuri Bazaar. Here you can find all types of garments shops, spices, dry fruits markets, street foods like chats, bhelpuri etc. Roam around the market and explore some unique and select some best out of it.
  5. Rajghat is a memorial place for of our Nation?s Father Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated. It is located near the bank of Yamuna River. There is a museum where you can see some of his artifacts that has been kept and displayed in the museum.
  6. India Gate is a memorable gate where the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers were killed during the World War I of 1919. It is one of the most attractive tourist destination places in New Delhi.
  7. After passing through India Gate pass through the President House nearby the India Gate. It is also known as Rashtrapati Bhawan and officially it is the home place of Indian President. Inside there is a Mughal Gardens. It remains open for only one month and tourists are allowed to visit the garden.
  8. You will proceed to Qutub Minar. It was built in the year 1193 which is 73 m-high of tower of victory by Qutub-ud-din Aibak. The monument depicted the both Muslim and Hindu style of architecture. Originally it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India.
  • After completing the delhi sightseeing, back to hotel for overnight.
  • In morning Check-out hotel and proceed towards Agra.

  • Day 02: Agra Sightseeing

    Places to visit in Delhi: Taj Mahal & Agra Fort.

    1. On arrival in Agra city, you will meet with the Tour Guide and proceed to Taj Mahal.
    2. Sightseeing one of the wonder of the world 'TAJ MAHAL' also known as a symbol of love, built by fifth Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved queen Mumtaj Mahal (Arjuman begum Bano) in 1631 to 1653 it took 22 year for the construction with help of 20 thousand worker. The Taj is a real wonder on account of symmetry, geometrical calculations and grandiose structure. The precise stone inlaying work done in the marble with semi precious stone is eye catching.
    3. After sightseeing of Taj Mahal visit marble inlaid demonstration, same Art of Taj Mahal by the same descendants who was built the Taj Mahal.
    4. Then we will go to sightseeing of Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there you can look the best view of the Taj Mahal from a little octagonal tower or window. Agra fort built by third mughal emperor Akber in 1565, Shah Jahan constructed the main buildings and Aurangzeb built up the ramparts. Agra Fort is a UNESCO world heritage located 2km northwest of Taj Mahal. The monument exhibits Hindu and Islamic architectures. ?
    5. After completing the Agra sightseeing, back to hotel for overnight.
    6. In morning Check-out hotel and proceed towards Jaipur.

    Day 03: Jaipur Sightseeing

    Places to visit in Delhi: Amer fort, Hawa Mehal, Lake Palace (Jal Mehal), City Palace & Jantar Mantar.

    1. Our guide will meet you in Hotel lobby Jaipur or where do you want to be meet in Jaipur and proceed to sightseeing for Jaipur.
    2. First we will go to sightseeing of the Amer Fort, 11 kilometers from Jaipur, is one of the most famous?forts of Rajasthan. It was built by Raja Man Singh in 1592.This fort is also very popularly known as the Amer Palace. Inside the Amer fort there are many beautiful building like 'Diwan-i-Aam', 'Sheesh Mahal' and 'Sukh Mahal'. The Amer Fort has influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. This fort also has the 'Shila Devi' Temple and the 'Ganesh Pol' which is a gate that leads to the private palaces of the kings. The Amer Fort has many pavilions and halls of great interest and other popular attractions.
    3. Hawa Mahal (wind palace) is one of the tourist attractions in Jaipur city. Located in the heart of Jaipur, this beautiful five-storey palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The main highlight of Hawa Mahal is its pyramid shape and its 953 windows or 'Jharokhas' which are decorated with intricate designs. The main intention behind the construction of the Mahal was to facilitate the royal women and provide them a view of everyday life through the windows.
    4. The Lake Palace (Jal Mahal) is 4km to the north of Jaipur and is located on the main Amer-Jaipur road. Most visitors to the Jal Mahal combine the visit with the Amer fort as both attractions are on the same side of Jaipur. A typical visit to the Jal Mahal will be less than 30 minutes, enough time to take some photos. There used to be gondolas which would provide romantic boat rides across the lake but these rides stopped 3 years ago. Apart from the small market stalls and camel rides there is not much else to do at the Jal Mahal. (We will not go to inside the Lake Palace)
    5. Lunch in restaurant or any hotel in Jaipur.
    6. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II is known to have commissioned work for building the outer wall of the city's complex. He shifted from Amer to Jaipur due to water problems and an increase in population in 1727. He had entrusted the city's architectural design to the chief architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. The architect went on to design the City Palace in according with the Vaastushastra
    7. The 'Jantar Mantar' at Jaipur, being the biggest conservatory in the country, was renovated time and again and houses various instruments that offer precise measurements of time, the azimuth, declination of the sun and the positions of constellations, along with several other astronomical phenomena. The Jaipur observatory was functional for seven years only, as the Maharaja was not very successful in deriving accurate, astronomical observations.
