My name is Shafeek khan, I born on 12 July 1980 in Agra city, India. I have been working as a Government Approved Professional tour guide in Agra city since 2005. I have tour guide license from Department Of Tourism Government Of Uttar Pradesh (India). I am Graduate from Agra University. I have Chinese language certificate from Delhi University, therefore I have also got the certificate from the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, which is recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

How I came in Tourism Trade?

I belong to middle class family. My father was a service man and my mother is a house-wife. My father struggled a lot to give us a good education. I was very curious to work as a Tour Guide because, all members from my family like my uncle, my younger and elder brothers, my cousins, and my nephew are working as a tour guide in India. They have tour guide license from Ministry of Tourism & culture, Government of India and Department of Tourism Government of Uttar Pradesh -India.

Here, I would like to keep some words in front of you that, Tour Guide is my family Job, means all of my family members are working in Tourism Trade as a Tourist Guide since two decade. So, I have got the experience from my family background.

I have started my First Assignment on 2 December, 2005. My guest was "Mr. & Mrs. Jean Pierre" from France. I was very nervous, while the explanation of Fatehpur Sikri & Taj Mahal History. And this assignment gave me lot of confidence and therefore "Mr. & Mrs. Jean Pierre" also cooperate with me and they were very happy with my services. I have enjoyed a lot with them at the time of sightseeing.

After this I have started working very hard to know the deep history about the Mughals, Architecture of Monuments, Indian Culture & its Tradition.

One day, one of my guests asked me a question related to the "Taj Mahal", He was already having a deep knowledge about the Islam and its Architecture. So he asked me that why the moon shape on dome of Taj Mahal is structured in straight position - (According to Islam the Moon is shaped in Curved position). At that time I was unable to reply his question, because I was lack of Information. So, I replied him that I will definitely provide you the complete information related to the Dome of Taj. After completing the sightseeing with guest, I came at home in evening and started searching the information in Architecture books related to his question. After 2 days also, I haven't got any information in books. So, I thought to ask this question to my uncle and my elder brothers, who have been working since last 1985 and having a deep knowledge about the Indian History & Architecture. I kept my question in front of my uncle and elder brothers during the Dinner Time. My, Uncle replied me that - Taj Mahal is built by cemetery style. On the dome of Taj Mahal, the pinnacle height is 10 Meters long and it is solid. It is very heavy. If we shape pinnacle's moon is curve position, so it will damage the dome soon. So that is why this is shaped in straight position.

After come to know his question's answer, I replied the completed information to him to his Email. By this, I came to know about the Taj Mahal & its architecture through my family and I am very proved that I born in this Family. Then, I started working to know to each & every nook & corner of the monuments of Agra & Fatehpur Sikri. Now, I am adept with heart and soul of India, I always tries to make a difference to your travel plans. I take you deep into the Indian Culture & Tradition, as I am we all acquainted with its every nook & corner.
